A reference to the character of Boo Radley in the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird", a "Boo Radley moment" is when a person is astonished at the sight of something or someone excessively strange and/or rare.
(Seeing a recluse emerge from their home after a prolonged period of time)
Man: *stares blankly, mouth open*
Recluse: Having a Boo Radley moment, are we?

Boo Radley

To stab another in the leg, particularly the upper thigh area with scissors. The word is derived from the action of the character Boo Radley from the great Amercan novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.
He was so enraged by John's actions that he straight up went for the Boo Radley!

Boo Radley

A fictional significant other. That is, a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse, one that a friend frequently refers to, that neither you nor any of your friends has met. Refers to the slang boo as a sig. other, and, obviously, a reference to the secretive, mostly-hidden character in the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird.
"I should bring my girlfriend out from New Jersey for prom..."
"Oh, the internet one no one has ever met? Your Boo Radley?"

Creepy kid in To Kill a Mockingbird that attacked a family member with scissors. Also was locked in the basement of his home. He also saved the main character in the book.
Kid: Can I borrow a pair of scissors?
