Bergen County is one of if not the richest county in New Jersey. New Jersey is consistently, one of the richest states in the county.
Bergen county is a suburb of New York city, or as others refer to it one of NYC's unofficial boroughs.
It is rich with history as well, which is why residents see "Washington's Retreat Route 1776" throughout New Bridge. If Washington's Army didn't have the new map that he used while retreating from the British after losing in Washington Heights, which showed "New Bridge" he would/could have lost the war. The old "new" bridge still stands, there is a museum, and restaurant, though that's in New Milford...all throughout BC Washington has made history.
Our neighbors, like Englewood are famous to, they are the birthplace of hip hop, the first record was done there.
Back to what makes Bergenfield shine, she is a diverse town in many ways, people from all different ethnicity's, religions, incomes, etc. come from all over the world to call Bergenfield home. Many people, especially city residents dream their whole lives/youth of moving to Jersey/Bergen County, those that work hard and are lucky may wind up blessed with their own place in Bergenfield. All of them have their own reasons for wanting to be here, but all of them good reasons. I will touch upon a few of the major fine points and advantages.

THE FIELD is to Bergen County what the LES used to be to Manhattan. Big dicks, big hair, big attitude make this vibrant, boisterous, yet surprisingly well-heeled community easily recognizable from the rest of bland, uncharacteristic Bergen County. 167X, all aboard!

The 'ghettos' of Bergen COunty- the men: strong, tough, and can outdrink anyone you know and the Ladies are tough, witty, can outdrink anyone you know, and easily steal your boyfriend- just as easily as we stole the Hollister shirts we're wearing. We don't act hard because of the fact that we are 10 minutes away from the city- and more inner-city residents send their kids to our high school, or because every party ends in a fight-- but we act hard because we literally could kick the shit outta any other town around. We carry our Coach bags proudly- probably because they are fake- and we look forward to running into those "Dousche-mont" kids and New Milford losers at our 7-11 or "Club Wendy's". Deep down, we're hated.. but it's only because they wish they were us. Tenafly- with their preppy outfits, and new Mercedes cars, and Old Tappan- which is a wannabe Tenafly- ain't got shit on us. So, yes, maybe there are more Phillipinos living under one roof than you have living on your whole block- but we represent the dirty Jersey to the fullest- and what would Bergen County be without its' projects?

Small suburban town in Northern New Jersey. Bergenfield is only 10 minutes away from New York City. Everyone in Bergenfield wants to be "gangster." There is also a huge Filipino population that is now growing exponentially, who also try to act gangster. THere is a very small minority of people in Bergenfield that are actually themselves. Bergenfield has been written about in books and news articles and over time, bergenfield has become a "teenage wasteland." The educational system in Bergenfield is horrible and there seems to be no hope for improvement. Bergenfield is a great tourist site if u want to go somewhere where there is absolutelty nothing to do and no where to go.

a pretty decent town located in bergen county, north jersey. Bergenfield which has a large philapenis population is the neighboring town of Dushmont and Teaneck. There are many landmarks in Bergenfield like memorial field, Hot Dog place, Peyton Williams acting retarded on washington Avenue and more. Their are living legends in bergenfield like Danny Volmer and the stuffed bear at bergenfield high school. People hate Mr. Ragasa for he has no fucking clue about the sport of basketball. The class of 2006 has beef with each other. The class of 2005 has diverted into the mist of oblivion. The class of 2004 wishes they were still thought of. The class of 2003 is unemployed.
