ball don't lie

A phrase commonly used by professional basketball player Rasheed Wallace; once famously yelled by coach Flip Saunders.

"Ball don't lie" is said when a player misses one, two or all three of his free throws after a questionable (read as: bullshit) foul call is made by an official. The ball is, essentially, the unbiased judge who will not reward the player by going in if the apparent foul was indeed bullshit.
*Andrew Bogut locks arms with Rasheed Wallace and trips over his own feet, prompting a foul call from the referee*

Rasheed: That's BULLSHIT, man!

*Andrew Bogut toes the line and proceeds to miss his first free throw*

Rasheed: BALL DON'T LIE!

*Bogut then attempts a second free throw and misses again*

Rasheed: BALL DON'T LIE, DAMNIT!

Ball don't lie

A simple phrase made famous by Rasheed Wallace and coach Flip Saunders that presents evidence that a foul call was indeed unwarranted when the basketball doesn't go in the hoop (usually when the foul beneficiary is at the free throw line).

'Ball don't lie' is more than phrase a player can call out to make a case that a call was made unnecessarily, it is also a mind-set and philosophy. Although Rasheed Wallace may come off to the public as an inarticulate NBA thug, some, like myself, believe that he is a deeper individual, both in intelligence and in a spiritual sense. 'Ball don't lie' is evidence of this hidden and sheltered brilliance exposing itself to the masses. The basketball philosophy Rasheed gave the world, that a basketball is a fair and unbiased being, is ingenious. I have a feeling that some NBA players may have adopted this set of thinking and think the exact phrase of "ball don't line" when NBA referee bullshit is evident. I believe Rasheed's philosophy extends beyond the shooting immediately after the bull call, maybe even influencing the outcome of the game (although the circumstances in which the call occurred would have to be significant). Radical, yes, but if we as a society have accepted crap like the 'Cleveland curse' can't we believe a philosophy like this.

Thank you 'sheed.

Ball don't lie

A basketball reference. When yo mans calls a false call and you both shoot for possession of the ball (see miss off me; tops if necessary; tops period). Whoever wins possession has the right to say "Ball don't lie" in order to justify his actions. Some people believe that the phrase "Ball don't lie" has deeper meaning. They believe that God (through the ball) may invoke a certain karma for lying by altering the path of the ball in favor of the honest player. Which basically means even if u win the ball, u gon miss od even if u usually got the glitch and Mr. get yo garbage man construction worker loookin' head is gonna drop u, break yo ankles put it on snap and TYB (see TYB).
Jerome-*Trips on air while driving in the paint* "Foul"!!!

Ball Don't Lie

An expression, often used in basketball, to describe a situation where a perceived bad call or unfair decision is followed by a positive outcome for the team or player who felt wronged.
Player: *Misses a free throw for after a foul was called but no contact was made*
Opposing Team Player: "Ball don't Lie!"
It is said of the situation where a person has the bad luck to make contact with his testicles against an undefined surface or object, intentioned or not.
Given the nature of the word, it is more appropriate to design cases where the interaction is made with a moving object, for example, a ball.
Although it is extremely painful for the victim, it tends to be considerably funny to people who witness it.
Today in the baseball game the pitcher took a nutshot; the baseball hit him in the nuts.

Man, I just watched the funniest nutshot video ever.

Nerd neck

A "human" that spends so much time playing video games that their posture is level nerd neck. Everytime anyone goes tryhard they hunch down and their neck gets longer there fore a nerd neck is always hunched down cause they're always going try hard. In other words a nerd neck is a try hard, since their neck is 100% longer than the average human being due to playing too many video games and taking them serious, nerd necks are not even considered human anymore but something more sad. Nerd necks are often found on fortnite, their natural habitat usually being tilted towers.
What a fucking nerd neck!
