In southern slang, can sometimes refer to a homosexual or practicing homosexuality. Some people just throw the derrogatory slang term "Backwards mechanic," which is an old term dating back to the 1980's in reference to a gay person.
Bob: "Well larry... you know... he's backwards; he likes to play in the dirt."
Rob: "What do you mean?"
Bob: "Meaning larry is gay."
Rob: "What do you mean?"
Bob: "Meaning larry is gay."

Saying the alphabet backwards, from Z to A. Thanks to the Captain Kangaroo show, which aired it so very, very many times, I somehow managed to memorize it & can say it in 3 Seconds flat! No kidding!
People doubt that I can say the backwards alphabet & are shocked when I accomplish it! They always ask how I can do that!
