To get smacked down so hard you never get back up again. Usually used in non-digital esports, such as Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or Pokemon. This term originates from someone trying to look at the round pairings and the neckbeard in front of them turns quickly, smashing them with a backpack full of nerd-cardboard.
I backpacked that mother fucker in round 3; he quit the whole damned tournament and sold his deck to the vendors.

An irresponsible and careless person or persons who cannot look after themselves properly so travel with a "backpack" (typically a rucksack) to avoid coming to terms with their flawed lives. They use travelling as an excuse to not take responsibility for their actions and wrong doings, from interpersonal relationships, to the general mess and untidiness they leave behind them in their wake when travelling from town to town. The typical backpacker has a hard time surviving in the real world because they are too busy thinking about themselves to really do anything. They boost their egos by posing for photos and videos to make false realities on social media because they feel like the whole world is watching them. They are incapable of washing their own dishes.
