BScalation

The act of reporting that a problem or issue is being escalated without actually taking any additional action.
An example of a BScalation would be sending an Email to a customer reporting that you are sorry that their order has not been filled in the time promised and that the issue is being escalated to fill it as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, you just wait for the normal process to complete the order without taking any additional action.
