Ysengrim 

The name of a not so intelligent wolf in the 12th century Tale of Renart, a renowned European poem about animal-like characters. Ysengrim is all in all the Middle Age version of Wild E. Coyote (genius).

The struggle between Road-Runner and Wild E. Coyote (genius) is nothing other than a modern version of the old debate between Renart and Ysengrim.

Ysengrin

An intelligent wolf spirit with a short temper and dreams of defying the Court. He was given a powerful magic exoskeleton by the god Coyote, to whom he is forever loyal.
