A made up names people think sounds like Laurel. The trend of 2018 made everyone argue if the video was saying Yanny or Laurel. People quickly found out that the original sound was, in fact, Laurel.

Yanny and Laurel is a new meme that has occurred in our society. There is a video on Twitter of a video clip saying (which ever you hear) “yanny” or “laurel” if you heard “laurel” you laurel technically correct. But some people have heard “yanny”.
