was a specific virtue in Ancient Rome. It does not mean virtue in general, but something more like valor, manliness, excellence, courage, character, and worth (perceived masculine strengths, which may indicate its derivation from vir, man).

Although the Deviant Gentleman felt he didn't behold virtus, he was very wrong. He was and is indeed a fine gentleman of many great virtues, including all that virtus beholds.

The belief or action by which long held characteristics of virtue are modified for those more satisfying to the individual or group. Often recognized by individuals that have rejected historic norms or civility and morality for a characteristic that may appear virtuous on the surface but often minimal societal value.

As a virtuvert, Sam believes that people wearing masks is generally good and people should always wear them in public despite the medical authorities indicating they provide little value in a non-pandemic situation.

Virus Dodging 

A desirable behaviour. Going out of your way to avoid being close to people. In the olden days (prior to the COVID19-era), it would have been seen as rude to cross the street to avoid being close to a person. There was a risk that you’d be perceived as a snob, or as a racist, or intolerant in some way of the person you were avoiding. However, in the COVID19-era and beyond, it is the best thing you can do! And it’s a bonus that no one can accuse you of being rude.

I was on my morning walk to keep me sane during the “self-isolation” period when I saw Chatty Cathy walking towards me. I crossed the street. At first, she looked a bit sad but then I hollered “it’s not you, it’s just that I’m virus dodging!”

A virtual sleep over (VSO) is when two people who want to sleep in the same bed but can’t due to any reason so they FaceTime (or video call through any platform) keeping the connection open all night.

Virtue-signaling (noun): the self-serving, disingenuous act of presenting & solidifying oneself as concerned with, committed to, or compliant to a specific political alignment regarding political topics or issues for prestige or ego.

If the President genuinely cared about women's rights, he'd do less virtue-signaling on Twitter and more action.

Vitas Virus 

The "bug" caught by fans of Russian singer Vitas that makes them sit for hours and hours entranced by his songs and videos. It is an incurable disease that affects the lives of the sufferers. Fortunately, once the disease is contracted, the affected person does not want be cured. So they must live thier lives on daily medication - his voice.

Symptoms of Vitas Virus:
You can't go to bed without hearing his voice.
You say "One more Youtube Vitas video and I will go to sleep".....2 hours later..."just one more....maybe two more. "
You constantly mumble such things as: "OMG, I love him!" "How can he be so sexy?"

You find a new Vitas picture and are still staring at it 5 minutes later....maybe 5 hours later.

Virtual Louis

Someone who has a COMPLETELY different personality over the phone/texts than in person. It is ridiculously annoying and a douche move. They pathologically lie and brag about how great their life is and leave "uncool" friends behind.

First Dude: "God DAMN it dude he is SUCH a virtual louis, he's really snazz in person but a complete dick in the group chat."
Second Dude: "I know he lied about banging all of those girls and getting wasted on coke over the phone. Then he still acted like that was no big deal when we saw him in person."
