A term and strategy used in Starcraft II. Turtle or turtling would mean blocking off the ramp to your base with a variety of buildings. For terran players it would consist of either supply depots, barracks, factories or bunkers . For protoss players it would consist of either pylons, gateways, forges, cybernetics core or cannons.
This would be the most simple opener for most terran players as it walls in your base providing adequate defence . Zone: "So what's the plan?"
Dext: "I'm going to turtle to counter the zergling rush then focus on my eco." Zone: "Alright . Same goes for me then." |
