A derivative of hardcore breakbeat techno’s drum’n’bass. Distinguishable from other electronic music subgenres by combining nonlinear, polyrhythmic beats, rhythms, and bassline structures exclusively with the sparse, dense, and hypnotic textured melodic sequences of trance synth lines.

A subgenre of Dubstep relatively obscure until recently. It combines the half-step beat and big sub bass characteristic of Dubstep but merges it with Trance's melodic song structure and it often (but not always) vocal setting it apart from a lot of traditional Dubstep. However, the vocalists often sing in favor of rapping setting it apart from another Dubstep-related genre, Grime. Magnetic Man's "I Need Air" represents the first real commercial release of the genre both this and "Perfect Stranger" also by Magnetic Man are good examples of the genre.
Have you heard of Trancestep? Its a fusion between Dubstep and Trance
