The darkest planet ever discovered.

It’s bigger than Jupiter by 27.2% in diameter and 19.9% in mass.
It orbits its star in 2.47063 days.

It’s star is actually part of a binary star system located 750 light years from our Solar System.

It was discovered by the Trans-Atlantic Exoplanet Survey (TrES) in 2006.

Besides containing Na (sodium) and K (potassium), up to 99.96% of TrES-2 b is made up of Nga (Niggatronium - an extremely dense element that absorbs all light and is generally responsible for the color black).
Student: I thought the solar eclipse made our day so dark.
Teacher: You haven’t seen what daytime’s like on the planet TrES-2 b.
Student: Whoa, what year was it discovered.
Teacher: 2006.
Student: Oh My God.
