A generic answer to a boring question issued often by a non-listening or apathetic person.

Woman: How was school/college/work?
Stock Answer: Fine.

Woman: How are you?
Tom: Alright.

Angry Neighbour: Have you been shagging my missus?
Tom: Nope.
