The lowest person on the ghetto food chain. This person will often tell other people's bussiness, often times getting people arrested, evicted, or even killed. Snitches are hunted down like cattle, they destroy lives and credibility.

A word sometimes used in a wrong way. A snitch isn't someone who tattle-tells on someone. A snitch is a person who tells on someone simply because they're jealous or ratting someone out to save their own self.
Jhonny is selling drugs next door to Rick's house.
Rick is jealous because he sales drugs also, but gets no business.
Rick decides to snitch and tell on Jhonny so that he can get more business for himself.

RIck sales drugs for jhonny.
Rick gets caught and has to do time.
The police tell Rick that if he tells who he's working for, they'll shorten his sentence.
Rick snitches on Jhonny and gets him in trouble so that he can go home early.
