A great thrash metal band, and contrary to popular belief, is NOT only loved by angry white kids/Satanists. They are not a Satanic band, and they are actually quite the performers, but most people can only hear loud raging noise the first time they hear it and thus judge Slayer to be a crappy band.

How Slayer fans treat bands that open for the American Thrash Metal band Slayer. The fans are known for not only booing, but spitting and throwing anything they can get their hands on at the band. They view any opening band as just another thing getting in the way of them seeing Slayer perform. Because of this Slayer is known as one of the hardest bands to open for.
Static-X opened for them and Pantera and still talk about it many years later. After the show the fans of Slayer would brag about how Static-X was slayerized.

Listen to the Slayer album "Show No Mercy" (Antichrist, Die By The Sword, Metalstorm/ Face the Slayer, Crionics, Fight Till Death, etc.); it will change your perspective on life.
