A person who often scares away others (except for fellow skids). Their look and attitude derives from an inner hatred they have for themselves. Skids are the kind of people you will find sitting in the back of your class, stoned as fuck. They would also be seen doing drugs on a daily basis, as most skids are indeed addicted to marijuana.
Skids are not equal to normal people no matter what they like to believe. This is because it was thier poor choices that led to their hatred of others, their love for drugs and their future suicide.

In law school, a skid is officially someone without a cell phone. This essentially means that they are on the wrong side of the tracks: you can call and call but there is a train in the way.
