Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM) is a gaming term used to describe how players are matched up against each other in a match. SBMM matches players using different criteria that is based on what the developers choose. This criteria can be a wide range like KD, accuracy, games won/games lost, score, etc.

A stupid decision when developers of a game put SBMM in a casual game mode. When this is done, the developers often are mentally deficient.
