A political tool is an extension of a political apparatus, usually a person or group of people, which parrots political propaganda of that ideological political apparatus.
A political tool could be a media outlet that appears very partisan such as Fox News which parrots Conservative propaganda, MSNBC which parrots Liberal propaganda, The Cap Times (Madison, WI) which parrots Progressive propaganda, etc.
A political tool can also be as simple as an individual parroting political propaganda of their choice in internet chat rooms, blogs, or online comment threads.
