Pessimism regarding things in the past. Passimism is similar to looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses, except everything sucks. Whether the subject in question actually did suck or not is irrelevant. Although I am don't often engage in passimism, I must say that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a lame cartoon.
