An employee or contractor at a nuclear power facility who has strange disfigurements, a weird speech impediment or is otherwise deformed, ugly or haggardly. Sometimes abbreviated to just mutant when discussing within a nuclear power facility. When I was leaving containment there was a Nuclear Power Mutant decontaminating our equipment, she looked like sloth from "The Goonies".
