miglie: acronym = Minute Indescribable Grains Littering Inside Everywhere

Unlike dust that float then settles in fine layers a miglie is a slightly larger particle but still small enough to engrain into a carpet, rug or clothing.

One characteristic of a miglie would be that they slightly jump almost lifelike if you run your fingers through the carpet, rug or clothing fibres.

When did you hoover this room last? The miglies are beginning to multiply & are getting bigger.
