Methil 

A shithole town in Fife near Leven and the East Coast. Full of arsehole neds that hang around outside shops and street corners in groups either shitfaced on Buckfast and/or drugs who will give people abuse and act hard with their mates, but will say fuck all to you when they are on their own. Contrary to popular opinion, there are some good people in Methil, but they are sadly outnumbered by all the fuckwit arseholes who cause hassle and ruin it for everyone else. Not as nice as Leven, but a lot better than Kennoway, Buckhaven and East Wemyss without a doubt.

Person 1: "Where are you from?"
Person 2: "Awrite pal, ah'm fae Methil, goat ony smack or bucky on ye?"
Person 1: Shouts "Look Police!!" and clutches their valuables and moves quickly in the other direction for their own safety while the Methil person is confused and nervous glancing furtively all over the place looking for a police van.
