Isoc 

1) Isoc is an abbreviation for 'Islamic Society' (an alternative name for the MSA, Muslim students association).

Isocs are present in many Universities and colleges and cater for the needs of muslim students there. They also hold many events e.g. talks, big dinners, fundraising events etc to raise awareness about and interest in islam

2) 'Isoc' is also a specific abbreviation of 'Islamic Society of Cambridge' the muslim students society at the University of Cambridge, England. This is one of the most forward looking and active societies of its kind.
