HeForShe is a campaign made first by the UN Women. Their goal is to have men and boys pledge for the change of gender equality and women's rights. They encourage them to do something about inequalities faced by women and girls. HeForShe was known to the world when Harry Potter star Emma Watson made the most effective (lit/preach) speech in 2015.

Popularized after a speech by actor Emma Watson went viral, HeForShe is the global social movement initiated by UN Women that calls for men and boys to support women and girls in the fight for gender equality. Obama, Matt Damon, and many more male celebs have pledged their support of the new feminism through #HeForShe.
