A FIATsite is a website that does not offer Bitcoin or Lightning payments. FIATsites (usually sites owned by gold investors, gym teachers, or MMT economists) are sites built contrary to the design follows content axiom. BTC consistently ranks after IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, TLS/SSL, FTP, SMTP, and HTTP as a monetary internet protocol and is generally absent as a means of payment on FIAT sites. FIATsites are in danger of becoming CBDCsites in the future if the central banks rob the last bit of freedom and destroy everything that cypherpunks dreamed up to make the world a little freer.
