Despite being constantly termed as a one hit wonder by those not educated about the them, Dexy's Midnight Runners is easily one of the best bands of the 80s. All three of their releases are considered classics among critics, fans and those who actually know the band for more than "Come on Eileen." Their sound changed throughout their discography. They're supposidly releasing a new record in the near future. For the most part their sound can be described as a mix between post-punk, northern soul, and chamber pop.

A Dexy's Midnight Mumbler is a person trying to lip sync the words of Dexy's Midnight Runner's classic hit "Come On Eileen"
Nobody knows the words to Come on Eileen, not even Dexy's Midnight Runners, and they wrote the stupid song.
But 1am at a retro disc, lights down, notice how everyone on the dance floor seems to know the words ..... match perfect?
Here's the real lyrics .........

a kind-hearted beautiful girl, who seems shy at first however is talkative and funny when you get to know her. If you have a dexi as your friend then be grateful, because she will always be there for you and would be the best friend you could ever have. She is also the best girlfriend in the world, she's pretty, loving, caring and so cute, and she will always make you smile no matter what, she's the perfect girlfriend and no one can replace her. And she has such an adorable laugh and smile. She's such an amazing person. :>
