| 1. | Coughprehension | ||
|
Noun. Apprehension that arises when one must cough in a crowded, quiet place. A feeling that arises when one does not want to get the stink-eye for hacking incessantly in public. Coughprehension results in a deeper, obsessive desire to cough and watery eyes, a severe tickle in the throat and panic. I was at the symphony and had severe coughprehension, as I was afraid I would cough and not be able to stop.
