confounded

Used as an intensifier, and placed like an adjective. It literally means "confused" or "foiled". As slang, it is equivalent to "danged" or "darned". Used mostly in the southern U.S. and in Scotland.

compounded blessings

Blessings that multiply and increase with the natural order of nature. (similar to compounded interest at a bank)
God has blessed me with compounded blessings. I have beautiful children and they have beautiful children, etc. I have a great job and from that job came other opportunities. I planted one rose bush and from there sprung other gorgeous plants.
