"Chewing the Towel" refers to the act of performing oral sex on a girl who is currently on her period. "Towel" is slang for the feminine hygiene product girls use whilst menstruating.
"Dude, my girl and I want to hook up, but she's on her period. Guess I'm chewing the towel tonight."
