Broad is primarily used by Italian Americans in Philly, South Jersey, North Jersey, and New York City--NOT Baltimore per previous definition. It simply is a derogatory meaning for female i.e bitch, woman, lady, trick, chick, hoe.

I had to add an explanation because all the definitions I've seen here are inaccurate. Broad refers to the distance between the vagina lips of the human female. When the distance becomes wider than normal due to wear and tear, high mileage and rough use a woman becomes a broad. A broad is not necessarily a slut because all the wear and tear may have come from one man but a slut is always a broad.

A woman who is very difficult to respect. Usually wears very tacky clothing (fake fur, sequence dresses...etc) and reaks of cheap perfume. Widely known for being easy in the sack. Usually only ends up dating a sausage.
