a person who has average/high levels of intelligence but is unbelieveably slow at undertaking menial tasks, such as washing up, pouring a glass of water or trying to tie their shoe laces. following in on from this, people who they then come into contact with, end up becoming slow at tasks they are involved with, even if they are usually efficient.

An amazing guy who is willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. He’s sees the good in everyone and everything. He would stop to help anyone in need, without anything in return.
He is funny and quite inappropriate at times, but he always makes the people around him laugh. He doesn’t always say what he means, but he has the best intentions.
He’s cute, but not so cute that you wouldn’t want to bring him home to your mothers. He’s kind and reasonable. He will always open his mind to other ideas and opinions. He is not only willing to grow but wants to better himself always.
He can be too hard on himself, but he’s an exceptional guy! You want a Nick Barker in your life!

Due to the common use of the word dog to mean an ugly woman, a new phrase was needed to signify a canine. Thus the phrase 'actual barker' was coined.
