That dude with the guitar at a party

The douchey guy that always brings his guitar and tries to act cool at parties or other gatherings. The conversation always comes back around to the type of music that he and his band are doing now or why his taste in music is so much cooler than yours. When the focus turns to someone or something else, he starts to strum loudly on his guitar or tries to get other musicians to have an impromptu jam session so that he can be the focus again. This guy is typically one of two personality types; way over the top happy or the brooding "too cool for school" guy. For an example, see Reverend Tim-Tom from the TV show on ABC named "The Middle."

Great story, tell it again, tell it at a party and make some friends!

What you say when someone tells a really lame, boring story that had no point. After the person finishes, say it, usually in a chant, sometimes accompanied with clapping with each word
Joe: OMG, yesterday, I went to Starbucks and I got a mocha frap, and then there were no seats! So I had to stand around waiting until someone got up, and then I sat in their seat and i took out my laptop and I played freecell.
Tina: Great story, tell it again, tell it at a party and make some friends! (clap, clap, clap)

thats no fun at a party

A sentnce that can be used when not at or at a party. It means something that's got to suck
"Hey man i just raped by a panda"
"Well thats no fun at a party"
"aye"

Like a hotdog at a hamburger party

When someone sticks out like a sore thumb.
EARL: "Hey Billy, look at that woman with the peacock hat on"
BILLY: "What in the hell is she wearin that to the ho-down fer?"
EARL: "I dunno. But she sure do look like a hotdog at a hamburger party"

Boner at a dinner party

1. Literally, a situation that may cause discomfort to both the bonee, and other parties involved, in a formal setting (i.e. a dinner party).
2. Used as an expression, it signifies something or someone unwanted or out of place, something in an unsuitable setting.
1. Nobody appreciated when Alan got a boner at Alice's dinner party.
2. When Doug arrived at his niece's 3rd birthday party wearing assless chaps, all the guests agreed he was a boner at a dinner party.
