Describes a program that partly acts like a human. This term can be used to make your code seem smarter than it actually is (it's called marketing.) This concept is sometimes represented in pathetic stock images depicting creepy robots.

There is no way to explain this art that we as people have created. Artificial intelligence is something beyond that we could explain. Just like our Galaxy, we know nothing of it's full contents or control.
