A way of saying something important has actually been accomplished for real, while at the same time mocking former president George W. Bush
On May 1,2003 George W Bush landed on the deck of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln for a photo-op wearing a flight suit and declared "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq when in fact the war had just begun and absolutuly nothing had been accomplished. Exactly 8 years later Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by Navy Seals, this is an example of Mission Accomplished and not in a Bush way.

Generally performed during a large code development project, when the developer wishes to drink whilst continuing to code, and fight off the effects of long-term sleep deprivation and alcohol.

The method is as follows:
The developer drinks 2 regular alcoholic drinks, followed by 1 non-alcoholic energy drink, and then repeats the process during the course of the project.
Man, I did some Systematic and Progressive Accomplishment Drinking last night to punch through developing the new website, feeling pretty second hand, but at least the website is finished!

EA's justification on reddit for Star Wars Battlefront 2, claiming they weren't money hungry assholes, but the reply received over 600,000 downvotes.
EA: The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes.

Seriously?

Hym "Oh yes of course, I forgot that one (Not really I haven't forgotten any of them). No, ALL accomplishments are real! Seriously. I seriously mean that when I say it. All of them are real. Especially the ones for which you're not given credit.
Really real. Some super real accomplishments that are totally earned and make you better than everyone. That's what all of your stuff is. Just... Just super real and super earned. Your social lysenkoism is true and correct and the only things more real than your accomplishments are retards. They're the most real people (in my book). I love this new version of honesty I'm trying! It's great because instead of saying what I want to say, I say what I'm allowed to say under threat of violence and theft. And that's how things shout be! Because if I'm allowed to say things people don't like, it's an affront to their ability to violence me. So I need to watch what I say to other people and other people need to... Not do that to me... Because if I violence people for saying things I don't like I go to prison immediately because I don't have fucku money... BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS ANYMORE! I'm turning over a new leaf! Maybe I'll write a monologue later about how genetically and morally inferior I am to everyone (Especially retards with fat cocks). Or maybe a poem about how I should be respecting women for fucking retards. And then I'll find a woman who doesn't want to fuck me and just give her all my money. All of those are good plan! I'm definitely going to do most of them later."

Accomplished and serious are two different things. Whether someone that is accomplished is a serious person or not depends on the person, not on what accomplishments, titles, or awards they have.
Being accomplished at something doesn't tell you what somebody is really like. A lot of people take accomplishments as more than what they are.
