A rebel group that was in WCW (World Championship Wrestling). Created by Eric Bischoff, and introduced at WCW's Bash at the Beach 1996, this group wreaked havoc upon wrestlers in WCW and even took over WCW Monday Nitro LIVE on TNT(WCW's weekly show) on 12/28/97. The nWo's original members were Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan.
