oh- a word that almost everyone uses before saying a sentance, most often when they are telling a story.

I called her and she was like "Oh, I can't go." Then I was like "Oh, why not?" Then she was like "Oh, my mom was like 'Oh you can't go because I asked your father but he was like 'Oh, is her room clean?' and I was like 'Oh, her room isn't clean' and he was like oh'" Then I was like "oh..."

It's what you say when you don't know what else to say to someone, and you're thinking "Wtf", but they're your friend and you don't really want to sound mean. If used with authority figures it can also mean "Fuck you".

Amy: So, I made out with Bob last night.
You: Oh.
