This is the Start of Heading character in the Unicode standard. It used to mark a non-data section of a data stream, when that was needed. It is also the first alphabetically-sorted term on Urban Dictionary. It looks invisible here.

this is known as the first definition in urbandictionary.com. Although it isnt slang and there isnt much of a pronouciation its still very nice to have on your shoulder!
