Chick-fil-Atheist

A Liberal, knowing Chick-fil-A's open opposition to Gay marriage, yet still decides they make a mighty tasty sandwich.

Me: "Moonbeam, I was just now organically composting our refuse when I discovered a Chick-fil-A bag ... WTF?"

You: "Starshine, you know I love me some Chick-fil-A ... accept me as I am - a Chick-fil-Atheist.

Boss: "While you're out, would you pick me up a spicy chicken deluxe, but then transfer the sandwich to this old McDonald's bag so no one will notice?"

Sec'y: "The hoops I jump through for you. Mama warned me about working for a Chick-fil-Atheist!"

Seventh Day Atheist

Someone who still participates in Seventh Day Adventist activities, such as going to church, but has personally rejected belief in God. Often feels that they cannot tell their friends and family about their lack of belief for fear of rejection.

Dude 1: Gotta go to church now.

Dude 2: Why? You don't believe in it.

Dude 1: Yeah, but the wife doesn't know I'm a Seventh Day Atheist.

Atheist Trauma Syndrome

Atheist Trauma Syndrome, also shortened as ATS, is the name of a mental condition provoked due to massive hardline (new) atheist information and due to things that (new) atheists and atheist zealots often say on the Internet, one of the most common traits of this syndrome is that when an individual struggles with leaving atheism or a set of atheist beliefs or information that has led to them become atheist or think that atheism is right about religion and spirituality, it often have the same symptoms of religious trauma syndrome, but being about atheism, mostly about new atheism, militant atheist, atheist fundamentalism and scientism.

Atheist Trauma Syndrome is actually a thing, but sadly there's not a lot of studies about that and only few people actually study about such syndrome, it's mostly common between ex-atheists and people who used to watch atheist YouTube channels, read atheist sites and blogs and follow atheist accounts on social media.

Token atheist friend

Most non-atheist people have at least two of these. They like to go to parties and lame it out by talking about religion and politics the whole time. They're the kind of people who make you feel uncomfortable by bringing up their 'radical' beliefs every opportunity that they get and reply to your facebook posts with studiously atheist comments. These kind of people thrive on collage campuses where they come off as much smarted than they actually are with cheap, uneducated remarks about the existence of god.

"I don't believe in child leashes"

"You know what I don't believe in? God."

"You're such a Token atheist friend... go away. nobody likes you except your religious studies professor."
