The specific hatred of Black
men, often stemming from and
based in harmful
anti-Black stereotypes. (i.e. angry black man, black male brute, hypersexualization and fetishization, etc.)
Different from the more general/non-specific concept of "Misandry" due to the specific ways Black men and Black masculinity have been racialized. Coined by Jayvien McNeill in
2018 and published in a
2019 article where they talked about how Misandrynoir and Misogynoir were both projected onto their body no matter what, due to anti-Black racism.
Sometimes spelled as Misandronoir. Often perpetuated alongside Misogynoir.
