Background: Omaha Hi/Lo is essentially a split-pot variation of
Texas holdem (the rules of play differ slightly, but are of no consquence to this
definition). Both the player with
the highest hand and the player with the lowest hand share the pot. A low hand must have no pairs, but straights do not count against the low. Therefore, the Wheel will often win both the high and low pots.
