The most underrated aircraft of the 20th century. No one cared about this one, because everyone was caught on the goddamned P-51, which didn't have the armor of its more impressive predecessor, which could take bullets from the top notches of the german Luftwaffe.
"Why in the hell is the P-47 Thunderbolt so underrated!?"

One of the many infamous Aircraft ever built, designed and manufactured by Fairchild Republic, for the U.S.A.F. the A10 Thunderbolt is a very unique aircraft indeed. Literally built around an Autocannon known as the GAU/8-A, which fires 30mm rounds of Depleted Uranium, Armor Piercing, or High Explosive, at a terrifying fire rate of 2,100 to 4,000 RPM, and heavily armored, plus easy maintenance, it's easy to see why you don't fuck with this thing. Not only that... it's become a meme. A meme you laugh at until it comes for you, GAU/8-A and all...
If you heard the cannon of the A10, you're one of the good guys.
NOOO!!! YOU CAN'T JUST SHOOT AT RANDOM TERRORISTS WITH SUCH AN AWESOME GUN!!! Hahaha A10 go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
Precision Airstrike ready.
You see here in the U.S. Army, there's a very strong bond. One between pilots of the A10 Thunderbolt II, and one between our guys on the ground. And until the day there's no more enemies, it'll remain unbroken.

A badass plane with a GAU-8 Avenger Gatling gun that shoots 65 rounds per second.

A single-seated, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic ground attack aircraft developed by Fairchild Republic for the USAF. It was made in 1976, for close air support. Its main use is to destroy armored vehicles and ground units. Its body design or airframe was made around the GAU-8, (Gun, Automatic, Utility) which was designed by General Electric. The GAU-8 shoots 65 30mm rounds of American freedom per second. The airframe uses several security measures, such as 1200 pounds of titanium to keep the cockpit and aircraft systems safe.

As lightning comes down and meets thunder, thunderbolt is created. It is, in essence, the love child of lightning and thunder.
I can tell the storm is right above my head because there's a giant thunderbolt emerging.

To be victimized by the most unlikely and most unfortunate outcome possible.
I went to light my last cigarette and wasn't paying attention. I accidentally lit the wrong end. I just thunderbolted myself and now I have no cigs.

I get thuderbolted every year on my birthday because it's the day after Christmas and the birthday gifts are also my Christmas presents.

I was having an affair and I finally told my husband I wanted a divorce. That same day, my lover told me he wanted to end it. I was thunderbolted by both men in my lives.
