A country located in North America, to the north of the United States. The two primary languages are English and French, while French is mainly only spoken on the East Coast. The second largest country in the world, Canada has a very low polulation in proportion to its geographical size. There are lots of untouched spaces, and Canada is also very clean. It's government is modeled after the British government. Its capital is Ottawa. The Prime Minister is Paul Martin, a member of the Liberal Party.

2) A country made up of mostly Hockey lovers, but every country has their sport.
3) A safe, beautiful, mostly uninhabited place that has it's own currency, which is worth less than the United States' but cheaper merchandise is around the same price anyway.

The best friend of the United States, along with the UK and Australia. Its people are generally much more calm, rational and reasonable than their counterparts to the south. Its soldiers fought bravely and in countless cases died with honor side by side with British and American troops in the trenches of the Great War, on the beaches of Normandy, and in the mountains of Korea. Has a history and culture similar to our own, but generally less obsessed with violence and killing. Tends to be more liberal politically, never having had slavery or segragation, and less puritanical when dealing with alcohol and marijuana. Has a large French-speaking population, which, to their credit, has not yet surrendered to Germany in any war. As a nation, tends to be fairly honest and trustworthy, as evidenced by its stable currency and respectable diplomatic standing in the world. To the best of my knowledge, no Canadian citizens or interests have ever been explicitly targeted by international terrorists, and no Canadian army has ever invaded another country unprovoked.
Because of their usually sunny disposition, especially when compared with citizens of the US, Canadians are often seen as naive, gullible and/or not very pugnacious. Any student of history will find ample evidence to refute this stereotype.

One of America's best allies. There is no reason for Americans to bash Canada or Canadians to bash America. God bless Canada and God bless America. May the two wonderful nations live together in harmony.

-We really don't have a military but that's okay because we're generally known for our peacekeeping.
-We aren't arrogant,and we don't feel the need to start unnecessary wars.
-Canadian Beer, #1.
-Crime is substantially less than that of the US.
-Hockey, the best damn sport there is, is what we live and breathe.
-Universal Healthcare.
-Beautiful natural scenery everywhere you look.
-You can experience so many different cultures because Canada is very multi-cultural.
-For almost a decade, Canada was ranked number one in the United Nation's Quality of Life survey.
Bottom line is, there is no where else in the world I'd rather live.
I'm so proud to live in this great country.
