The most heavily Tongan populated city in the United States is Euless, Texas. Most of them smoke weed which is what prevents a lot of them from making it big in the NFL. Origin from the pacific island kingdom of tonga. tongans are generally referred to as being arrogant at times. tongans love to gossip & are very competitive amongst their own when throwing "lavish" parties on special occasions/events like birthdays, weddings etc. very friendly people, tend to be a little obnoxious. metophorically compared to 'horses.' tongans can hold their liquor & love to party hardy. tongans are big & very proud people so dont fuck with them...they'll hurt you.

Just like the Puritans fled for religious freedom or the Quakers on a spiritual pilgrimage, and other cultures reallocating reasons, all were on an exploration of progression, enrichment, or dreams.
However, the connotative deifinition of Tongans now a days, directly gear towards: BIG, FOOTBALL, THE HAKA (which is not a real tongan chant), or FOOD.

A descendant of seafaring Polynesians that once ruled Polynesia from Samoa to the North, (Tonga is the term for 'south' which is why the country is named as such, being the southernmost part of the Polynesian Kingdom), Fiji to the West, and Marquesas to the East. Because Tongans loved (and still do today) the physical and mental challenge of overtaking others' lands and property, they sought and overcame much through war and wit. Today many Tongans are proud of the fact that their island home has never been overtaken or ruled by a foreign entity. (Every other land in Polynesia was eventually overtaken by foreigners although it might not have been so if the Tongans had remained in power.) Tonga remains Polynesia's lone monarchy. It has at its roots thousands of years of rule by chiefs and kings of Tongan heritage.
