fresno, california aka the NO, fresyes, or nickel nickel nine(559, the area code), is the 8th largest city in the state and is one of the largest agricultural communities in the nation. although there are some bad things here such as: crime rate(steadily decreasing), air pollution, gangs, and hot summers, there is much more to say about fresno that is positive. the high schools here are exquisite, leading many other cities in both sports and academics, it is in a convenient spot in the san joaquin valley(45 min to the sierra nevada mountains, 2 hours to the coast, 4 hours to disneyland, an hour to 3 national parks, and 3 hours to the bay area), cost of living is relatively low, the residents in most parts of the city are kind, and it's a great place to raise a family. the weather is "bipolar" as my friends and i call it in the winter, spring, or fall, but in the summer the weather stays on relatively the same pattern: 105, 108, 101, usually around there. fresno has a very undeserved reputation for being just about as bad as oakland because freeway 99 runs through downtown and doesnt give a good view of the much better parts of town. fresno state, the local university, has a nice program. there are a few other finishing schools here such as willow international, fresno city college, etc. quite honestly, anybody who doesnt live here has just heard the reputation and they have no credibility when it comes to judging fresno.

An uneducated gang from the streets of Fresno, California. All the members and their supporters are Mexican-Americans. Most of their children either don't go to school or go to DeWolf Continuation High School. They got their gang name from the Fresno State Bulldogs.

It's the sixth largest city in CA and largest inland city of said state. Located in the San Joaquin Central Valley, it's population is comparable to Atlanta's. Also known as "The 'No", by the locals, it's not neccesarily the coolest city in the country, especially in the summers and although not neccesarily a world renowned metropolis such as LA or NYC, it's still a very, very culturally diverse city, with all shades of color and a plethora of heritages and languages around.
Not your average podunk, small, valley town either, Fresno has it's healthy mix of nightclubs, art galleries, museums, shopping centers, arenas, stadiums, an airport and good schools (Fresno State University, in particular) to see. As well as many beautiful women, particularily from the Mhong community there. Though the opinions of the city from it's inhabitants can range anywhere on the positive/negative spectrum, most will agree that it is a good city to live in, albeit marked with it's own problems and occasional bum rap; just like any other.
Guy 1: I like it here in Fresno, California. The people are nice, girls are hot, and there's plenty of restaurants to pick from. Oh and the Stones were fucking awesome last weekend when they played.

The Fresno Bulldogs, or BDS for short also known by the abbreviations FBD, 624 and BDS,4 are a primarily Mexican American criminal street gang located in Fresno, California. They are considered to be one of the biggest drug gangs in Central California with membership estimated to be around 6,000 in the city of Fresno. They are engaged in a wide range of criminal activity and have been subject to many high-profile cases over the years. They wear mostly red but do not align themselves with Norteños, one of their biggest rival gangs in America. They don't align themselves with Sureños or Latin Kings either. And certain sets of Crips and Bloods.
