Get the rest-ur-rant mug.Pronounced "end rant." Reminiscent of various programming-esque chat-specific commands. Used when you've written a long rant and need some mental closure to assure yourself that you have indeed finished your rant, so that you can move on. Also serves as a signal to the reader that 1) the above text was in fact a rant and, therefore, has an underlying message that should be divorced from the passion and emotion that inevitably gave said text a mildly offensive or belligerent tinge; and 2) (especially during a lengthy back-and-forth) you do not intend to respond to any additional replies with a similarly equally long rant, because you've said your piece.

Get the /rant mug.An absolute blown-out-of-proportion, tho usually valid, rant. Normally one sided and not directed at the listener (should there be one). These rants usually arouse such anger that the person ranting becomes embarrassed but cannot stop it while it is occuring
