hipster entrepreneur

1. all he wants to do is just "change the world", 2. but be aware, the hipster entrepreneur values ego validation far more than he does profit or market share
Tony Hsieh is a great entrepreneur who's proven himself over and over again, but he's also the godfather of all hipster entrepreneurs.

They've only been in operation for a year and they're giving back 15% of their profits to charity... WTF, are you kidding me? Are they hipster entrepreneurs or something?

Balloon Boy Entrepreneur

A self-absorbed, fame-seeking person who will do anything other than get a real job. Inspired by reality show hopeful Richard Heene.
"The neighborhood association was opposed to David's plans to set up a music studio/amphitheater/sperm collection business in his home, calling him a 'balloon boy entrepreneur' who would do anything to avoid honest work."

Loves starting things then delegating them to others.

mexican entrepreneur

When a man buys a pickup truck & a couple lawn mowers & piles all his amigos & lawnmowers into the truck to start a lawn cutting business.
Derived from the millions of ratty pickup trucks packed with mexicans & lawn mowers.
That mexican entrepreneur almost ran me off the road with his truck packed full of mexicans & lawn mowers.

EntrepreNERD

An enterprising individual, whose superior technical ability often clouds the presentation to 'normal people' of an otherwise inspiring solution to a frequently infuriating problem.
Steve: "If you just tweak this bit of code, then..."
Human: "Dude! You're such an EntrepreNERD. How DID you know that?"
Steve: "RTFM"

(Note: The use of the name 'Steve' is not directed at a specific individual, but the name does crop-up so frequently in IT, it's uncanny...)

Positive Entrepreneurship

A principled approach to business prioritising wellbeing and sustainable growth.

Positive Entrepreneurship draws on the PERMA model of Positive Psychology (Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment) and applies these principles to the practice of entrepreneurship, as a path to improved personal and professional wellbeing.
Positive entrepreneurship has opened the door to a new model of enterprise and growth, which does not emphasis work above wellbeing, but instead empowers entrepreneurs to develop a healthy mind, body and business.
