A word used to describe a situation when someone beileves they will orgasim, but do not. The victim of the "gasm" is usually an orgasm-virgin and they in fact have no idea of they even came to close to a real orgasm.

A gasm is usually followed with dissapointment, frustration, and more porn.

You can have a shoegasm, chocogasm, hottiegasm, hippiegasm, musigasm, artgasm.
Whatever makes you "cream your jeans", persay. Just shorten the word up and stick gasm on the end and you can use it as a noun.

"I had a total Musigasm when I went to the String Cheese Incident show at Bonnaroo."
