Bermuda Shorts Day. Legendary Party at the University of Calgary. The story goes that an Editor-in-Chief at the Gauntlet Student newspaper wrote "wear shorts tomorrow" on a blackboard in a main hallway. Many people did, and the event went down in history. Modern BSD celebrations normally occur in a parking lot on campus, and are organized by the student's union. Essentially an excuse for men to wear flamboyant colours and Woman's shorts.

"I'm going to wear an elephant costume to BSD this year."
"Rad, I'm going to wear my girlfriends pink short-shorts and a mullet wig."
"Lets get druuuuunk..."

Bench, Squat, and Deadlift, the 3 big lifts inside of powerlifting. Can be used as a comeback to any insult if the person being insulted is stronger than the one throwing out insults.

Ben: "Haha you're a retarded dumbass!!!1!!!11!!"

Larry: "How much do you bench squat and deadlift? (BSD)"

Larry automatically wins the argument and Ben spontaneously combusts due to the sheer amount of strength that Larry has.

BSD

Bermuda Shorts Day, an epic university-wide party and U Calgary. Takes place every year on the last day of lectures. Originated in April 1961, with the majority of campus students attending in colourful summer shorts. Modernly takes place in the University parking lot #32, with music, beer and overall awesomeness. Was proposed to be renamed to "Bitchin' Snowpants Day" due to the unusually snowy weather conditions on the 50th aniversary (2011).

We are going to get smasehd on BSD.
BSD is the best day of the school year.
