note: alt. spelling 'defence' when in pommy, matey or kiwi land
A military force which is proven to be relatively weak judging by the fact that high school graduates can actually apply for officer positions and be accepted, FAR OUT MATE

The USMC could take on all branches of the ADF single-handedly with what we have in Okinawa, no sweat.

Assisted dying facility, the opposite of an ALF, aka an assisted living facility.
These are typically state owned, rundown, and severely underfunded ALFs that have overworked nurses and techs that smoke crack-cocaine on their breaks. Most patients unfortunately die due to negligence or wrongful mistreatment, which ironically lowers the facilities funding more. Patients don’t get meals/medication/care on time, or sometimes don’t receive them at all. Somewhere you don’t want to put your grandparents.

John: My mom can’t take care of herself anymore, I’m thinking of putting her up in The Oaks.
Mike: Bro The Oaks? Anywhere but there bro, that place is an ADF! The charge nurse Brittany is strung out on crack.
