Snark(noun) an individual outside of your home or dwelling doing shenanigans. typically when the snark goes out to do snarkish(adj)behaviors it is not done to random or complete stranger. Snarks do not seek personal gain by taking items not belonging to them ever. Until the snark is in the snare trap, your assuming it's there. To think snarkishly is to defy another's reasoning as "to the lengths one may go" if gas wasn't so expensive.
When ever you feel like someone is out there , watching or waiting for you, it may be snark. Snarks can often become obsessed with doing snarking. Hiding the schemes from any one they know. The dsm-5 regaurds snarks as curious of others, but my therapist hasn't any time to go out on a snark hunt.

I don't mind quiet snoring, like a background soft droning sound, but a snark can wake me up with a start.
